Oracle provides a complete enterprise imaging solution that can be deployed to eliminate paper and automate a variety of business processes. The main components in the imaging solution for invoice processing with E-Business Suite are:

Oracle IPM/OFR/ODC specialist

·        Experience in implementing Oracle Imaging and Process Management, together with Oracle Document Capture and Oracle Forms Recognition components configuration, installation and tuning in production environments. Should be able to analyze and identify best practices in production environments.

·        Review design options within the Oracle IPM, ODC & OFR tools. Share the implications of different design decisions and assist with configuring the tool, validate the design and configuration.

·        Should have functional configuration experience with the Oracle IPM module integrating with EBS and using Financial Solution Accelerators/Adaptors, preferably Release 11g and implementation experience with scanning solutions to support invoice processing and capture and routing.

·        Knowledge of shared service center AP workflow and considerations for establishing scanning queues, indexing, and routing for coding and approvals.

·        Should have strong experience and knowledge in implementing oracle ECM solutions. 


Oracle IPM Developer

•      Configuringworkflows users with groups and rules for secure access.

•      Implementingsolutions for workflow processes to support business requirements for taskrouting, business rules, etc.

•      Developingworkflow inboxes that are accessible via the Web, with role and access controlbased authority.

•      ConfiguringOracle IPM to apply metadata, security, and version control to images.

•      ConfiguringOracle IPM to annotate and mark up images.

•      DevelopingOracle IPM E-forms for secure data gathering, validation, and verifications.
